Who We Are

At Frankford, we’re proud to be a fourth-generation, family-owned, and U.S. based business, and while we’ve grown and expanded, our values and mission have remained the same. We understand the importance of tradition, community outreach, social and environmental responsibility, and a people-first philosophy. We are humbled to have had the opportunity to offer you delicious, high-quality candy for nearly 80 years.

We are honored to be members of the National Confectioners Association and are equally as honored for the Frankford members that have been inducted into the Candy Hall of Fame, including Sam Himmelstein and Stuart Selarnick.

Our team also takes pride in remaining a neighbor to the city of Philadelphia and is grateful for the opportunity to give back to the community through events like the South Street Candy Crawl, the South Street Annual Easter Promenade, or our annual “Sweets for Smiles” fundraiser for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, which has raised over $400,000 since 2017.
