Frankford Candy believes in the value of loyalty, trust and community engagement. For 75 years, we have employed local members of the city of Philadelphia, many of which have been with us for nearly 50 years.
Frankford's confections have brought smiles to children's faces for years. We continue to spread happiness to children by partnering with the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to donate proceeds from our annual Sweets for Smiles® Fundraiser. The fundraiser is a night of family fun, including raffles, food, drinks and games. Every dollar raised brings much needed support to children who are in need of CHOP's exceptional clinical care, groundbreaking research and vital community programs. We are proud to have raised more than $350,000 and counting.
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic we have donated thousands of candy products to critical front line workers who remain our community heroes. We delivered candy packages to dozens of local hospitals and organizations and will continue to support those in need throughout difficult times.
In addition to our Sweets for Smiles fundraiser and COVID-19 donations, we partner with local non-profits, schools, nursing homes, community centers, police stations and community groups. We are proud of the partnerships that we have created and the community we help support. Giving back sure is sweet!
